About localmedic

localmedic provides specialist medical cover, training, and consultancy for licensed venues and events across the UK.

From student unions and nightclubs to arenas and festivals, we support our clients with reliable, professional care that protects both people and reputation.

Our promise is simple: outstanding is routine, not rare.

We combine clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the licensed premises environment, ensuring our clients and their guests are supported by medics they can trust.

How we deliver

Our mission is to set the standard for medical care in nightlife and event spaces. We do this by embedding our values in everything we do:

  1. Setting the standard – professional, high-quality care on every shift.

  2. Honesty and integrity – acting transparently and ethically, always putting patients first.

  3. Financial responsibility – using resources wisely to deliver a sustainable service.

  4. Accountability across the team – owning our actions and supporting colleagues.

  5. Enthusiasm and initiative – bringing energy and adaptability to fast-paced environments.

Our culture is built on professionalism, teamwork, and trust.

We support our team with training, mentorship, and clear processes, so that they feel confident and capable in every situation.

Licensed premises medic

We are expanding our base of medical staff at FREC3 and FREC4 levels to work in licensed premises such as nightclubs, concert halls, and student unions.

As a licensed premises medic, you will:

  1. Deliver frontline medical support in dynamic nightlife settings.

  2. Work as part of a team to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care.

  3. Represent localmedic and our values in every interaction with patients, clients, and colleagues.

This is a role where professionalism, calm under pressure, and clear communication make a real difference.

Pay and benefits

At localmedic, we believe looking after our team is just as important as looking after our patients.

That’s why we offer:

  • Pay starting from ÂŁ14.50 per hour – a competitive rate that includes rolled-up holiday pay.

  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) – confidential support for your wellbeing and mental health, available whenever you need it. Very few providers in our sector offer this benefit.

  • Peer connection – a dedicated WhatsApp group where you can share experiences, get shift updates, and support each other as part of a professional community.

  • Growth opportunities – structured training and development so you can build your skills and progress with us.

  • Flexible shifts – mostly mid-week evenings and weekends, giving you the chance to balance work with other commitments.

When you join localmedic, you’re not just signing up for shifts — you’re joining a team that invests in you.
